Ode to my pool
In my present, I cannot be
as happy as I am in thee,
body playing, lapping, diving,
aqua-water-wet contriving,
buoyant coolness, glimmering light
which shimmers and shakes the body right,
the mind is as happy as a clam,
I swim in my pool, therefore i am. ~ Hedda B.
